Grilled Romaine Salad

  • Romaine Heads

  • Olive Oil

  • Cherry Tomatoes (halved)

  • Bacon Bits

  • Red Onion (chopped)

  • 1-Year Shaft's Blue Cheese (crumbled)

Blue Cheese Dressing:
  • 1 Cup Mayo

  • 3/4 Cup Buttermilk

  • 1/2 tsp Ground Mustard

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 tsp Worschishire

  • Red Wine Vinegar

  • Fresh Dill

  • 1-Year Shaft's Blue


  1. Wash and dry head of romaine. Cut in half along length.

  2. Turn grill to medium-high heat. Lightly brush oil on both sides of romaine heads.

  3. While grill is heating, mix dressing ingredients together.

  4. Add romaine to grill and allow to cook on each side for about 2 minutes until grill marks have formed.

  5. Top with tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, onion, and homemade dressing.
